Carpooling coworker loses it after employee makes her late for work so she can cuddle with her cat for 15 more minutes: 'That animal is my baby!'

Pet owners can be especially protective of their "babies." We understand this dynamic all too well. After all, this is Cheezburger, and our audience loves cats to no end. If you're someone who identifies with the idea of staying at home for 15 more minutes to provide comfort for your precious cat, thereby making you late for work, then you will love the author of this tale. However, if you're someone who simply cannot understand the bond between a pet owner and their baby, then you might side with the author's hardened coworker, who threw a temper tantrum because she was the author's carpool buddy.

Being late for work shouldn't be that big of a deal, depending on what your job is, of course. Still, if you're the type of person who will occasionally sacrifice punctuality for quality time with your pet, then you probably shouldn't let others count on you for commuting with them to the office. That's where this cat parent went wrong. It has nothing to do with their love for their little furry animal. That's perfectly normal among the readers of our site. That being said, it has everything to do with the author's lack of care for other people's time!
